Regular annual corporate Forum TWIGA 2009 was held from December, 16th till December 18th. During the meeting, which passed under the slogan «With the incoming!», the main results of the leaving year 2009 were summed up and the major development directions of TWIGA Communication Group were planned for the upcoming year of 2010. The slogan of the Forum and of the new year 2010 is «TWIGA, rise and shine!». Representatives of TWIGA Group agencies from Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine have taken part in the annual forum.
 
Forum 2009 was opened by the Board of Directors and was destined to outline the leaving year results, which overpassed planned quantity and quality figures. Thus, some of the Group companies have shown dramatic financial result increase, breaking recessionary tendencies of the year. According to the evaluation of the TWIGA Group President, Alexander Ogandzhanyan, the beneficial year ending is connected with a number of strategic initiatives taken by the Group in 2009. One of the primary quality achievements is the success of TWIGA TOUCH agency. It has become the 7th in the official creativity rating in Russia according to the results of year 2009. The Board of Directors paid special attention to the issue of 2010 year planning. During the next year the strategic initiatives of the last year are supposed to be kept further. It is also planned to introduce a number of new programs such as Product Quality Control, updated HR Strategy, giving special priority to intensive TWIGA Group business development, carrying out certain financial and organizational changes in TWIGA corporate management which constantly expands and develops in terms of territory and discipline.
 
On the second Forum day working sessions of four different teams were held: MedInform (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan), MediaFirst (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan), Marketing service agencies (OGGI, Pole and Printalloggi printing house) and Integrated communications (TWIGA TOUCH, InTown, BeWeb and TWIGA PR).
 
«Integrated product creation» seminar-workshops, attended by more than a hundred of agency employees, became the second part of the Forum. This kind of training allows to reveal a non-standard, uniting each team various communicative discipline approach to a preset case study development and its presentation, giving the opportunity to think of various templates and clich?s while working out the communication strategy.
 
At the end of the evening the results of traditional award for outstanding success and achievement «Heko!» were summed up. The title «Agency of the year 2009» was given to two agencies, which received equal number of jury votes, - MedInform Russia and MedInform Ukraine.
 
The award also includes non-standard nominations such as «There is always a place for a feat in your life», «Finding of the year», «Breakthrough of the year» aimed at marking outstanding employees for special contribution to the TWIGA Group development.

The choice of the agency, which would take part in organization of thó Event, was based on the results of a tender. The key factors which helped to get the best results were participation in working out of the creative concept of evening, offering the original place, creating spatial atmosphere by new technological decisions.
The place of evening was the ART centre on Vetoshni Side Street. It was stylized by decorations and light decisions to the concept of the evening- “Welcome to Reality”. While visitors gathered on balconies of the second floor, the basic platform has been closed from guest’s eyes by a huge white cloth which has risen up when speech of the host (A.Urgant). In front of the public appeared à bar rack and a scene with DTV logo in the middle.  The official part of the evening was opened by speeches of top-management of the Channel. The presentation of new programs, rewarding ceremony 2009 finalized the official part of conference. The performance of "Tokyo" band has continued an amazing evening.

Before that Mr. Stoyanov held a post of the deputy director in department “of Investment sales and acquisitions” in Jones Lang LaSalle company (Moscow). Before his arrival to Moscow Mr. Stoyanov worked as the senior analyst in the European bank of reconstruction and development (EBRD) in London for more than a year. Since 2007 to 2008 Mr. Stoyanov held a post of the financial expert in Group on development of the Balkan region. Hus international career began in 2005, when he began working in the International financial institutions (Institute of International Finance) (United States of America Washington DC ).

Mr. Stoyanov has received a degree of the master of business administration (ÌÂÀ) at university of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania),  where he took an active part in a public life. Mr. Stoyanov has been awarded by the award of Josef Wharton for leadership and professionalism.

The luckiest six applicants who did successfully selection procedure got spots in the program and became officially numbers of the Trampliners program.
 
«We were really surprised by quantity of applicants to take part in the program. Visiting statistics says that “Karmany” popularity takes on, drawing more admirers – 1st “Karmany” gathered 100 visitors, 2nd – 1000 visitors, this year the exhibition, which was held for 10 days, gathered approximately 2000 visitors by conservative estimation, not taking into account TWIGA Clients and friends.
We were gladdened by visitors true interest and emotions. These are the feelings were expected demonstrating our works. One of the most important goals of the festival organizers was drawing near art and advertising, showing how creative it can be.
The work “Fed Up” created for HeadHunter took People’s choice award.

TWIGA CG annually demonstrates the most interesting works of the Agencies, created during the past year. The creative festival is a unique event in which any employee of any Agency of TWIGA CG territory can take part.
 
In the framework of exhibition’s Grand Opening Ceremony the continuation of “nasty deeds” story first presented a year before on Group 15th anniversary was demonstrated to the guests. Since that time TWIGA CG history was enriched by eight new “nasty” deeds which in some or other way affected the code of ethics.  But TWIGA Touch creative team retrieved its image by showing a new work with significant social context – an 8-minutes-long film, devoted to oncologists and the importance of search of remedy. Russian celebrities who came across this problem in their life took part in this film.

How everything turned out”. Within the festival every agency honestly will show its best works that were created during 2008. The jury will award the most interesting and conceptual entries with special prizes. 
 
The main idea of the previous “Karmanû-3. How everything turned out” festivals was the unification of Russian-speaking space in one creative community, where it is possible to share creative ideas regardless of nationality and country of living.
Thus out of the country with population of 150 million people we again are turning into colossus united with much bigger territory into much bigger community supported with concept of cultures penetration.  
 
 
 
This year the festival changes its perspective by adding the slogan of the year – Happy Coming! – whichhas a polysemic meaning. Today all advertising community understands that it will not live with old principles and use old techniques. Great changes, that we are facing up, can be seen in creative works of 2008. 
Coming of new time and new opportunities – that is the meaning of the slogan “Happy Coming!”. Beside that the slogan contains our intention to proceed to action, realizing those opportunities that the new time offers us. After rather tense matches TWIGA Dream Team surpassed its last year’s results getting through to the semi-final. As a result of equal game we ceded to the future winner of the tournament and were awarded with bronze cup from the organizers.

The Trout river facility was decorated in a bright, colorful and glamorous style of Kira Plastinina. The entertaining pastime began with a cheering up workout in the open air. Afterwards all the employees were divided into 10 teams guided by animators. They were to demonstrate team unity and perfect gumption. The guests participated in a number of open air activities, such as trout angling with further grill baking, glamorous shooting range, intelligence contest and creative photography competition.

The highlight of the festivity was an improvised defile: teams of designers presented their innovatory models, created from crimp paper, polyethylene, adhesive tape and ribbons.

Demonstration of every team’s achievement became a powerful final strike. Common round dancing and singing around the fire, flying a great number of rose balloons – all this finalized successful project.

The reproduction of giraffes is infrequent event in zoos. The process of giraffe reproduction depends on comfortable conditions. Owing to the fact that good care the baby giraffe was born healthy and strong.

We will look after growth of small hewing and help in creation of comfortable conditions for her and her animal family.

The tender consisted of two stages. Within the first stage each participant offered three ideas, and during the second stage selected ideas were tested by focus-groups.

TWIGA TOUCH concept became an over-all leader. 100% of focus-group respondents expressed the desire to get a product.

Within the contract TWIGA TOUCH will realize communication materials for Russia and Germany markets. Two promotion strategies will be developed considering features of brand positioning in each country.  There is a well known brand with leading position in segment in Russia, while in Germany the brand will be launched together with Dr. Sheller Company support.

In Russia, the start of the campaign is planning for September, 2008, in Germany — for October, 2008.

The stand was designed with a banner and advertising modules on it, a little tablet-shaped table, a vase with the unusual pharmaceutical filling, information desks and reception. In the center of the stand there was a large plain LCD–TV–set, on which the information about Berlin–Hemi’s gastroenterology remedy was demonstrated. On that TV you could also watch beautiful sceneries, pictures of the sea and animal world. During three days of the exhibition the Agency’s promoters helped visitors to fill in the forms at the stand, attracted new guests and announce the symposium’s theme. Everybody who filled in the forms got the prize–coupons. During two days there was also a photo–laboratory at the stand. This event lasted for two days, and it was necessary to present 5 brands at the same time : «9 months» «BioMax», «Gamsi», «Grammidin» and Zorex. The main problem was the necessity to create special means to attract visitors, special stand-design for each of 5 brands, and make sure that would not confuse with each other. For the stand design MedInform choose different elements, for example: for «BioMax» it were sport apparatus, for Zorex (remedy for hang-over) – the bar. The design also had to be functional – in the BioMax zone there were sport competitions with prizes, in the bar section the bar-tender offered cocktails maid by himself in front of the visitor’s eyes. The first day there were 3 brands on the stand: 9 month, BioMax and Gamsi. Promoters gave to the visitors the programs of stand work with the schedule of the drawing and other actions. The first day at 12:30 there was a competition for the 9 month, where the main prize was the Arbat-Prestige card for 3000 rubles. At 13:30 took place the contest with the lottotron for them, who had filled in a form. The florists made the little bouquets according to the special psychology character-test and presented them to the visitors, who had filled in a form and made the test. The BioMax zone made one more contest with prizes at 14:30, and at 15:30 the sport competitions began. There even old men and women took part, they twisted hoops and played with the ball with such enjoyment, that it was decided to present them even parts of the stand design - abdominal crunch, the hoop and the football ball. There was also the very successful idea to photograph visitors on the usual background, and then transform these photos in cards with logo of 9 month, Gamsi, BioMax etc. in Photoshop. The lines for the photo session were very long. The second day there were zones of Grammidin, Gamsi and Zorex. In the Grammindin zone there were contests with prizes such as scarves, cups, umbrellas, the white soft towel and bathrobe. The Zorex zone caught attention of more than a half of the exhibition’s visitors. Two barmen made the real inflammatory show and prepared 12 liters of cocktail. There were presented the vine kit in the beautiful wooden packing, the kit with a corkscrew and shaker. In the evening there was the main contest – answering the presenter’s questions with the main prize, the mobile phone. Then the barmen tough there skills to those who wished. They even had to repeat their lessons an encore. MedInform Healthcare Communications agency succeeded in drawing attention to each of the brands, collecting great amount of questionnaires and giving much fun to the visitors.
